The Borough of Wesleyville has been awarded a grant exceeding $51,000 from the Department of Community and Economic Development’s Strategic Management Planning Program. This funding is aimed at upgrading information technology systems in both borough offices and the police department.

Senator Dan Laughlin (R-49) commented on the significance of this grant: ā€œInformation technology modernization can be the catalyst to deliver services, provide insights into data and serve citizens in ways that haven’t been possible up to now, and can serve as a foundation for improved services into the future.ā€ He further noted that this financial support will enhance Wesleyville Borough’s effectiveness and efficiency in serving its residents.
