Rep. Jake Banta from the 4th Legislative District in Pennsylvania House of Representatives made a strong statement in support of the Second Amendment during a rally in Harrisburg. In his address, Banta emphasized the importance of upholding citizens' rights, citing the Pennsylvania Constitution.

"Article I, Section 21 of the Pennsylvania Constitution states, ‘The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.’ I am proud to stand with my fellow Pennsylvanians today in support of protecting their rights," stated Rep. Jake Banta.

Banta, a veteran and gun-owner, highlighted his unwavering belief in the constitutional provision that ensures the ability of citizens to own firearms. He stressed that safeguarding the Second Amendment is crucial for fostering a society based on individual liberty.

"As Democrats in Harrisburg have made efforts to prevent gun-ownership across the Commonwealth, I have and will continue to stand against all attempts to disarm the people of Pennsylvania," affirmed Banta.

Representative Jake Banta's firm stance on the Second Amendment reflects his dedication to defending the rights of Pennsylvanians. Serving parts of Erie County, Banta remains committed to advocating for the protection of citizens' fundamental liberties.
