Rep Jake Banta of Erie is set to host an event in collaboration with the Office of State Treasurer Stacy Garrity to assist residents in recovering unclaimed property. The event will take place at Banta's North East district office on March 28. Banta emphasized the importance of the event, stating, "Constituents could be missing tangible assets such as jewelry, military medals, bonds or other physical items. We want to give them the opportunity to obtain what is rightfully theirs."

The initiative is crucial as statistics show that "one in every 10 Pennsylvanians has property waiting to be reclaimed." The event aims to provide residents with the chance to reconnect with their unclaimed property at no cost. Those interested can visit the North East district office on March 28 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. located at 8 South Lake St., North East. No appointment is necessary for this event.

For further inquiries about this event or any other state government issues, individuals can reach out to Banta's North East district office at 814-347-7111. The representative's media contact, Tim Craine, can also be reached at 717.609.7331 or tcraine@pahousegop.com.

This effort by Rep Jake Banta highlights the commitment to assist constituents in reconnecting with their unclaimed property and underscores the importance of ensuring that individuals have access to what rightfully belongs to them.
