Cardboard Boat Race
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2022
9AM – 12PM
Junker Center Pool
Registration required
Dear Physics enthusiast,
The Penn State Behrend Physics Department is hosting a cardboard boat race. While cardboard boats are usually kept away from water, some people say, "duct tape fixes everything." So, we are testing this theory.
Using only cardboard and duct tape - can you build a boat that floats? If you are looking for an out-of-class experience, an extra credit project or a fun break from a traditional class period, please consider participating in our boat building and race competition on Tuesday, December 6th. All you need is cardboard, duct tape, and a bit of confidence.
Complete registration details on provided here.
Hope to see you at (not in) the pool!
