International Education Week (IEW), November 14-18, 2022, is an initiative spearheaded by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

Travel Trivia
On Tuesday, Nov. 15, stop by The Deck on Beyer's second floor from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. to engage in Travel Trivia! There will be free food and a chance to win gift cards with our internationally-themed trivia questions. Co-sponsored by the Center for Social Concerns and Global Exploration and the Office of Global Support and Student Engagement. For more information, contact cscge@gannon.edu.
Hunger & Homelessness Soup with Substance Event
Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5 - 6 p.m. at the Knight Club: join the Center for Social Concerns and Global Exploration for a simple soup supper and our observance of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. We will hear from a local organization that seeks to raise individuals out of homelessness - and learn that much of the U.S. population is closer than you think to homelessness. Find out how you and your organization can make a difference.
Global Coffee Hour, hosted by Residence Life Office
Thursday, Nov, 17 from 3 - 4:30 p.m., on the second floor of Beyer Hall. Global Coffee Hour is a time when you can grab coffee and meet and interact with other students. Hosted every week by different organizations, it is a great opportunity for all to relax and make good conversation sipping on good cups of coffee. Join us to learn about what the Residence Life Office offers to make students' stay at Gannon pleasant and comfortable!

Global Thanksgiving Potluck
On Saturday, Nov. 19, from 4 - 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Join Gannon faculty, staff, students, and friends at our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner and experience an American Thanksgiving! This will be a potluck event - which means you are welcome to make a dish to bring and share. If you'd like to make a dish, please email globalsupport@gannon.edu to sign up.
