Gannon Environmental Ethics students teach “Plastic in Water” at local middle school

Dr. Aaron Kerr and students in Environmental Engineering speaking with students at St. Ann's School.

Students in Dr. Aaron Kerr's Environmental Ethics course in Gannon's Philosophy Department shared their time and knowledge with local middle school students at St. Ann's School at Sarah Reed Children's Center about Plastic in Water.

“Garrett McClelland, Bri Coluzzi, Nour Masri, and Jenna Swanson were not "teaching to the test" but to the hearts and minds of these middle school students who will live their adult lives in a new ecological paradigm,” writes Sabine Preuss-Miller, secretary at Gannon University.

“All students in the class learned from each other and we thank our friends from Gannon University for taking the time with our teachers and students this morning,” said Gary Bukowski MA, CRFE, VP of Advancement at Sarah Reed Children’s Center. “There was great interaction at St Ann's School.”
