Cathedral Preparatory School issued the following announcement on May 10.
Congratulations to Villa Maria Academy’s Emily Blenner ’22, Abby Consiglio ’22 and Rachel Hardner ’22. They were the three recipients who received the Italian American Women’s Scholarship last night at a reception hosted by the The Italian American Women's Association. The IAWA offers the scholarship opportunity to female high school seniors, and it is presented to those who have an Italian background/family. The application process consisted of writing an essay on how their Italian heritage has impacted their life, as well as letters of recommendation from teachers/counselors/administrators. The scholarships are presented to students with strong leadership skills, high academic standing and involvement in their school and community. Congratulations Emily, Abby and Rachel!
