Cathedral Preparatory School issued the following announcement on Mar. 22.
The 14th Annual Mother-Son Communion Brunch was held this past Sunday, March 20th. This tradition gives Prep students the opportunity to share spiritual time with their moms, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and family friends to remind them of how much they are appreciated. Mass was celebrated by Cathedral Prep Campus Minister Fr. Jason Feigh in Prep's H. David Bowes Auditorium. During Mass, a special mother-son blessing was given by senior Hugh Wegley ’22 and his mother, Maureen (Campbell) Wegley ‘86. Following Mass, everyone was invited to a delicious brunch catered by AVI, and the mothers were gifted beautiful carnations as they left for the evening. A special thank you to event coordinators Amy (Trojanowski) Rupp ’97 and Fr. Jason Feigh for organizing this year’s event. The Mother-Son Communion Brunch is special way for our young men to spend time with the special women in their lives!
