Sunday, March 13th, was a very special day in the Villa community! The ladies of Villa and the special men in their lives enjoyed the 9th Annual Father-Daughter Communion Brunch. The morning started out with a Mass celebrated by Fr. Mike DeMartinis. The altar was decorated with palms and flowers from Allburn’s as we continued to celebrate the Lenten season. As mass concluded, Margaret McGovern ’22 and her father Dr. Jeff McGovern led the congregation in a beautiful father-daughter blessing. After Mass, guests were treated to a catered brunch by AVI to cap off the memorable morning. The morning will be remembered for years to come with photos taken to commemorate the event. Thank you to event coordinators Katy McGovern, Melissa Melle and Maurita Rosenberg for planning this very special event, which has become tradition. A most special thank you goes to all the daughters and special men in their lives who took time to celebrate their special bond.
