Cathedral Preparatory School issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Congratulations to the following Prep and Villa students for participating in the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educator Association) District 2 Chorus Festival this past week, hosted by Ridgway Middle High School in Ridgway, PA: Emily Morphy '23, Josie Dufala '24, Nikole McLallen '23, Anna Skinner '22, Collin Hudson '22, Aiden Richter '23, and Alex Junkin '24. The following students placed in the top ten of their section and are advancing to the PMEA Region 2 Festival, which will be hosted by Franklin Area High School in March: Emily Morphy '23, Josie Dufala '24, Nikole McLallen '23, Collin Hudson '22, and Aiden Richter '23 (Not Pictured). These five Prep and Villa students secured their spot to compete for a spot in the PMEA All-State Chorus, which is held in the Poconos at the Kalahari Resort in April. Congratulations, again, to all!
