Cathedral Preparatory School issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
Last evening, members of Cathedral Prep, Villa Maria Academy, and Mother Teresa Academy’s President Leadership Council enjoyed an evening at the Hagerty Family Events Center. Guests gathered in the Joann Mullen Gymnasium while hearing about the latest school information from Interim President Dave Slomski ‘72 and Vice President of Development and External Relations Christine Eddy. Throughout the night, guests were also treated to the amazing piano talents of Cathedral Prep’s Jordan DeLauer ’22 and Villa’s Clare DiGiacomo ’24. In addition to updates on the school, Bishop Lawrence T. Persico bestowed a blessing on the group and thanked them for their generosity to Catholic education. Student speakers included Ja’Nae Beason, an 8th grader from MTA, Villa senior Megan Maholic ‘22 and Prep senior Andrew Kolodychak ‘22. Each provided a personal story of how attending MTA, Villa and Prep has impacted their lives and thanked the group for supporting them and their fellow students. We would like to offer a very special thank you to all our President's Leadership Council members for their generosity and commitment to our mission and vision!
