ECPS President Search Announcement: A Letter from Sara Weber Kallner '93, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors

Genbusiness006

Cathedral Preparatory School issued the following announcement on Aug. 6.

To the Villa Maria, Cathedral Prep and Mother Teresa community,

Erie Catholic Preparatory School ("ECPS"), which is the entity that governs Villa Maria, Cathedral Prep and Mother Teresa, has officially launched a comprehensive national search for a new President.  The schools are blessed to have the continued leadership and guidance of Interim President David Slomski '72, as we proceed with this search process.

Cultivating a team of professional educators, clergy, administrators, coaches, and volunteers that believe in the success of our students is critical, and those devoted and tireless individuals deserve a passionate, engaged leader who will champion the legacy and the future of our beloved schools.  We listened carefully to the community feedback we received from focus groups, constituent interviews and surveys that were completed during the early part of June 2021. To this point, the ECPS Board of Directors directed its search committee, chaired by Tina Cicchetti Donikowski '77 to engage Carney-Sandoe & Associates to execute the search for the next ECPS President.

Our schools are experiencing transformational changes on many levels.  As we embark on our journey to merge two school populations into one, and construct a state-of-the-art learning center, we shall continue to offer our students not only an extraordinary education, and countless extra-curricular opportunities, but also, an environment where they are encouraged and applauded for boldly growing in their faith.

I invite you to view our President Search page on the school website to review the prospectus, stay informed and follow our progress.  Thank you for your continued prayers as we embark on this journey.

With gratitude,

Sara Weber Kallner '93, Chairwoman

Erie Catholic Preparatory School Board of Directors
