Cathedral Preparatory School recently issued the following announcement.
Interim President Dave Slomski `72 announced the appointment of Elizabeth M. Fehr to the position of Assistant Vice President of External Relations at Prep, Villa and MTA on July 7, 2021.
Elizabeth will begin this new position after already having seven years of experience at Prep-Villa having previously served as the Constituent Relations Manager, the Communication Manager, and heading multiple special events including Alumni Reunions, the Rambler Classic, the President’s Leadership Reception, Young Alumni Happy Hour, and most recently the 2021 Legacy Gala. Interim President Slomski notes, “Elizabeth’s proven track record of success and achievement in engaging alumni and donors across generations at Prep and Villa and her knowledge of the history of our school and its constituent base was most impressive.”
Prior to joining Prep-Villa, Elizabeth served as the Director of Advancement at St. George Catholic School and Church where she helped raise over 1.8M for capital improvements and as a Development Officer at the University of Scranton where she assisted with the Pride, Passion, Promise Campaign which raised over 129M for the construction of a new Science Center at the University.
In her new position, Elizabeth will have oversight of the school’s Advancement Department including Fundraising, Alumni Engagement, Special Events and Marketing.
A native of Binghamton, New York, Elizabeth is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her undergraduate degree (B.A.) in History. Elizabeth then went on to earn her law degree (J.D.) at Syracuse University. Her other work-related experience includes practicing law with Levene, Gouldin, and Thompson in Binghamton, New York and working as a specialty pharmaceutical representative with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
Elizabeth is married to Christopher Fehr and has three daughters, two who have graduated from Villa Maria Academy, Kelly `16 and Laura `18, and Molly who is a member of the Class of 2022.
