Gannon University Athletics issued the following announcement on Jul. 9.
Kaitlyn Falk, licensed fitness instructor, wellness coordinator
Gannon alum Kaitlyn Falk earned her degree in nutrition and human performance. This summer, she's serving the community, leading free weekly fitness classes in Downtown Erie to get the community moving.
Groups meet downtown in Perry Square on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. for "TONE UP TUESDAYS," free fitness class exploring Downtown with Falk, a licensed fitness instructor and wellness coordinator. Tone Up Tuesdays involve a conditioning-style workout with cardiovascular and resistance-style training for all fitness levels.
Interested in joining? Here's what you can expect: "This hour-long workout will include a warmup, cool down, and three resistance-based segments, focusing on upper body, lower body, and core conditioning. Each working segment will include body weight exercises that can easily be reproduced on your own in our built environment of Downtown Erie. You will have the option to choose your level of difficulty; activities can be modified to be made simpler or you can kick your intensity into high gear- it’s up to you! Group meets at the Perry Square Stage."
