80 percent of applicants to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania were admitted for fall 2018

At Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Edinboro enrolled 4,834 students in fall 2018, including 3,572 in undergraduate and 1,262 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 10 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (82 percent) and Black or African American (6 percent).

The school admitted 80 percent of the 2,325 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 32 percent enrolled.
