89 percent of applicants to Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Erie-Behrend College were admitted for fall 2018

At Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Erie-Behrend College, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 66 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Erie enrolled 4,312 students in fall 2018, including 4,152 in undergraduate and 160 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

74 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 10 percent are residents of other states. 16 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (77 percent) and Asian (4 percent).

The school admitted 89 percent of the 3,392 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 35 percent enrolled.
