Public Comment:

All individuals wishing to participate in a public Board meeting shall register their intent with the Board Secretary (sitter@mtsd.org) five (5) days in advance of the meeting and shall include the name and address of the participant, topic to be addressed and group affiliation, if applicable.

During the meeting, participants must be recognized by the presiding officer and must preface their comments by an announcement of their name, address, and group affiliation if applicable.

Each statement made by a participant shall be limited to five (5) minutes' duration.

Those members of the public who would like to offer public comment during the Committee of the Whole meeting/School Board meeting and did not register in advance will be acknowledged during the Visitors section of the Committee of the Whole/School Board meeting to speak for 3 minutes. When entering the meeting via ZOOM, please type in the chat section your name, address, and topic on which you would like to speak. The meeting host or Board President will acknowledge you when it is your turn to speak and your microphone will be unmuted. There will also be opportunity to speak about agenda items during each Committee meeting (Instruction and Student Services, Finance and Operations, and Personnel and Policy).
