Borough of Edinboro issued the following announcement on May 28.
We’ll be having a duck race again this year. It is the major fundraiser for the Edinboro Kiwanis Club, and we count on the proceeds to provide programs for children throughout the year.
For safety reasons, things will be different:
• The race will not be open to the public. It will be held at an undisclosed place and time.
• There are no paper tickets, no in-person sales. All ducks will be sold ONLINE ONLY.
• We will video as much of the race as possible and post it to our website and facebook page.
• Prizes will be check or gift card – items we can safely mail
We appreciate your support in the past and hope you will continue to help us with this fundraiser.
