Mill Creek ranked first in state for resident earnings in 2017

Mill Creek ranked first among cities in Pennsylvania by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of Mill Creek residents was an inflation-adjusted $20,486 per year. Mill Creek had 158 households in 2017, with a population of 372.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Devon. Devon's median income was $93,604 per year after adjusting for inflation – $73,118 more than Mill Creek. It had 564 households in 2017 and a population of 1,749.

Loretto had the lowest annual resident income among cities in Pennsylvania, with a median income of only $4,369 per year. That was $16,117 less than the median income in Mill Creek at the time. Loretto had 115 households in 2017 and a population of 1,203.
