His posts covered community recognition, condolences for a fallen state trooper, and support for local economic development.
On March 8, 2026, Laughlin marked International Women’s Day with a tribute to his wife. He wrote, “On International Women’s Day, I want to give a shoutout to my wife, Peggy. She’s a strong, steady presence in our family and someone who cares deeply about the people around her. I’m proud to recognize her today and the many women who make our communities better.”
The following day, March 9, he addressed the loss of a law enforcement officer. Laughlin stated, “Heartbroken by the loss of a Pennsylvania State Trooper in the line of duty last night in Chester County. Please keep his family and the entire PSP community in your prayers.”
On March 11, Laughlin reported on an event supporting local infrastructure: “Great to join the team at the Northeast Marina today for a check presentation from the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority. This funding will help the marina take an important first step toward getting back up and running.”

He has maintained offices both in Harrisburg and Erie to serve constituents efficiently.
