Rep. Mike Kelly, who represents Pennsylvania’s 16th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed constituents through a series of posts on his social media account, sharing updates on tax policy, local sports representation at the Winter Olympics, and a traffic incident in Butler County.
On February 5, 2026, Kelly posted about recent changes to tax policy: “The Working Families Tax Cuts are putting more money into your pocket! Our team has put together some helpful information about what’s new when you file your taxes this year. The following day, he expressed support for a local athlete participating in an international event: “Good luck to Team USA in the Winter Olympics, including Butler County’s Ava McNaughton! https://t.co/bqyVyInAns” (February 6, 2026).

Mike Kelly has served as the congressional representative for Pennsylvania’s 16th District since 2011 after succeeding Kathy Dahlkemper. He was born in Pittsburgh in 1948 and currently resides in Butler. Kelly graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970.
