Rep. Mike Kelly, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 16th district since 2011, shared his views on the recently passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act through a series of tweets on July 3, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh and currently residing in Butler, Kelly has consistently focused on policies that benefit his constituents.
In one of his posts, Kelly expressed gratitude towards President Biden for his leadership on the One Big Beautiful Bill. He described it as an initiative that “puts America First,” stating, “Promises made, promises kept.”
As Chairman of the Ways and Means GOP Subcommittee on Tax, Kelly emphasized his role in championing efforts to renew Opportunity Zones legislation. In another tweet, he mentioned how the bill leverages the tax code to work for Americans rather than against them.
Additionally, Kelly highlighted the broad impact of the legislation with a tweet stating that the U.S. House had passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. According to him, it provides historic investments for small businesses and families across Western Pennsylvania and beyond.
