Rep. Mike Kelly, who represents Pennsylvania’s 16th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative efforts and policy positions focused on economic growth, support for local agriculture, and business competitiveness.
On February 20, 2026, Kelly posted: “President Trump has committed to using every tool in the toolbox to ensure American companies can fairly compete in the global economy. Following today’s Supreme Court ruling, I look forward to working with the President and his administration to make sure Pennsylvania businesses”.
Three days later, on February 23, he recognized the role of young farmers and farm families by stating: “Generations of young farmers have participated in the FFA. It’s important that we recognize the hard work and sacrifice local farm families make to put food on our tables each and every day.
This week, I co-sponsored legislation to recognize National FFA Week. Learn more”.
Later that same day, Kelly promoted tax policies intended to spur small business development: “The American Innovation Act allows for investments in research and development to help small businesses grow and allow entrepreneurs to take that next step in their American Dream.
This pro-growth tax policy will kickstart Main Street businesses, and it make it easier for these”.
Mike Kelly has served as a member of Congress since 2011 after replacing Kathy Dahlkemper. He was born in Pittsburgh in 1948 and currently resides in Butler. Kelly graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970.
