On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Mercyhurst Preparatory School standout Hayden Zaffino’s current college team, the California Vulcans, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Walsh Cavaliers.

The game took place at Wild Things Park. This was their second matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

The Vulcans’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. at Wild Things Park against Salem Tigers.
