LECOM Health has announced that LECOM Medical Center’s Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) program has received accreditation from Corazon. Corazon, a Pennsylvanian organization specializing in cardiovascular services, has recognized the program for meeting or exceeding its accreditation standards, national guidelines, and state health requirements.
Previously known as Millcreek Community Hospital, LECOM Medical Center has shown its commitment to high-quality patient care, as demonstrated in the accreditation survey. The hospital staff’s dedication and leadership have played a significant role in this achievement, boosting their cardiac service quality.
Corazon acts as an accrediting agency for the Pennsylvania Department of Health to ensure essential services are provided statewide.
