Erie officials to discuss CRIZ designation in upcoming news conference

A news conference is scheduled for Monday, July 15 at 9 a.m. in Erie’s Perry Square to discuss the City of Erie’s City Revitalization and Improvement Zone (CRIZ) designation, which was included in the recently completed 2024-25 state budget.

Participants in the news conference will include Sen. Dan Laughlin (R-49), Reps. Patrick Harkins (D-1) and Robert Merski (D-2), as well as Erie Mayor Joe Schember.
