On June 2, 2025, Senator Laughlin announced a special event in honor of Flag Day. “On Flag Day, June 14, during the Flag Day Concert at the Pennsylvania Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home, WWII veterans will receive a special medal from the Senate of Pennsylvania,” he stated. He noted that veterans must attend the ceremony to receive their medals and provided contact information for registration.
The following day, June 3, 2025, Senator Laughlin invited the public to participate in a live meeting as part of his role as Chairman of the Senate Law & Justice Committee. “As Chairman of the Senate Law & Justice Committee, I invite you to join our live meeting today at 10:00 AM,” he wrote.
