Rep. Jake Banta of Erie has announced a $300,000 grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) to fund a new plow truck for Concord Township. The current vehicle is inadequate for its tasks, and the new truck will aid in snow and ice removal, as well as potentially assist with non-winter projects.

“Everyone in Erie understands the necessity of snow and ice removal,” stated Banta. “These CFA funds for Concord’s new plow truck are vital to protecting our citizens in the winter months. I am proud to have advocated for this investment in public safety.”

The grants were approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority, an independent agency responsible for managing funding programs and investments aimed at Pennsylvania’s economic growth.
