On Friday, Feb. 14, former McDowell High School standouts Chris Juchno and Nick Hamilton’s current college team, the Mercyhurst Lakers, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks.

The game took place at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. at Shipyard Park against UAB Blazers.
