The Borough of Albion has been awarded a $35,000 grant through the Department of Community and Economic Development’s Strategic Management Planning Program. The announcement was made by Sen. Dan Laughlin (R-49).

The funds will be allocated to create and implement a five-year financial management plan for the borough. Sen. Laughlin expressed optimism about the impact of this initiative, stating, ā€œHelped by this funding, the new management plan will enhance Albion Borough’s ability to deliver services more efficiently and effectively, promoting growth and improving the community.ā€
